37/52: The World Is Not As Dark As It Seems
Today in Vermont I climbed up a mountain to get to a meadow on the peak. It opened up to this beautiful field and had a gorgeous view of the mountain and trees. Vermont's snow is so powdery, soft, glittery and clean -- so completely different from the city.
The silence was so welcoming and calming. The hike was so hard on poor city-girl Bella and I stumbled and fell about 5 times into thick snow banks through the woods but it was so worth it! I felt very accomplished and proud of myself when we reached the top.
